Sky Sports Commentators - Couldn't they have anyone better?
Probably The biggest fight since Sky started showing boxing and they've got this pair of pricks commentating. Nick Halling and Jim Watt are pretty shit considering the magnitude of the fight. Halling will be talking shit and take no notice of Jim Watt's scorecard, he's fuckin useless!
Very disappointing , been waiting 5 years and I'll have to watch it with the volume muted.

That is horrible. I was hoping Jim Watt wouldn't do it and they'd chose someone else but it looks like we will have to put up with that moron and his annoying voice. I heard Paulie saying he might be with sky but he wasn't sure yet. Hope he's commentating.
Re: Sky Sports Commentators - Couldn't they have anyone better?
Jim Watt is the best boxing commentator of all time
i have to turn the sound down when im watching american commentators
americans are good at some things, like blockbuster films and massive burgers, but they are well shit at sports commentating

I won't take the wind up.;) He's fuckin useless! and i'm not necessarily saying an American should do it. Although Malignaggi is way better than Watt, I do believe that for British TV (SKY) , they should have British Commentators. That prick Halling is crap as well. Adam Smith was better , although that's all a bit below him now, Ian Darke was better and there must be others. as for replacing Watt, Jamie Moore, Paul Smith, Ricky Hatton even, would all be way better than Watt. His scorecards are so bad, I think he's losing his eyesight with old age!

he may get his scoring wrong most of the time but hes entertaining
Re: Sky Sports Commentators - Couldn't they have anyone better?
I was so hoping Ian Darke would do it with an ex boxer who isn't Jim Watt
Re: Sky Sports Commentators - Couldn't they have anyone better?
I have no problem with Jim Watt and have no clue what the problem is. Sure he's called a bad fight or has shown bias but at least he actually has a clue of whats happening in the ring and why it is. 95% of the knobs on this continent are watching a different fight and/or not even trying to hide their bias for the HBO home boy. Its pathetic.
Re: Sky Sports Commentators - Couldn't they have anyone better?
I miss Ian Darke. For me his voice still equals 'big fight'.
Even when it's football.
Re: Sky Sports Commentators - Couldn't they have anyone better?
Smith is good and they should have him. Froch would be good too.
Watt needs to be put out to pasture.
