There will be a tremendous racial angle regards to Mayweather/Pac
Pacquaio being of Asian descent doesn't much matter in this case. There is going to be a tremendous racial divide when this fight approaches. Whites for Pac, Blacks for Floyd. There is a segment of White Americans who would love to see Floyd "get his cocky black ass knocked out". On the flip side, the brothers will back Floyd because he is black and would love nothing more than to stick to white people. Just watch

Here's one white pulling for Mayweather.
If you want a racial contest between then, ask them both to pull out their johnsons and get a measuring tape, we'll see how the racial stereotypes square up here.
Re: There will be a tremendous racial angle regards to Mayweather/Pac
Another white guy picking Mayweather here...
Re: There will be a tremendous racial angle regards to Mayweather/Pac
The lesser in society both white and black, the ones with the lower IQ levels, who blame others and do nothing themselves for the whole of society could very well see it only that way.
National / racial. Could be a touch closer to the truth though.
Because the Philippine people are proud as you can get and are all out for National pride.
They would laugh at others thoughts or wishes on siding them with Whites for the cause of further racial disharmony between fools who can only think in black and white mode.
As will all the normal thinking black folk and normal thinking white folk who do good for the whole of society and also any real boxing fans too and all races of people who work together in business and socially to bring us these events and a balance into society for the lazy blaming assed dumber ones who as you say will probably feel that way.
Re: There will be a tremendous racial angle regards to Mayweather/Pac
I don't think so. Floyd probably has more white fans than black. The US loves great athletes regardless of color.

That's how it always was. But more than just white/vs.black.... but for minority Americans vs. foreign fighters, particularly fighters from developing countries like The Philippines. This angle is HUGE!
Re: There will be a tremendous racial angle regards to Mayweather/Pac
Tremendous angle? I doubt it. The fight is huge and does not need the nonsense.
Re: There will be a tremendous racial angle regards to Mayweather/Pac
That seems pretty shortsighted. Any jackass wanting to see a fighter lose OR win strictly on race could care less about the sport.

I always thought it was disheartening how Ali could bring racism into a fight even with two black fighters.
