I remember watching this fight with my dad few months back and it was a disgrace. The dude showed up fat, couldn't take a body shot and was looking for a way out and the ref did him a favor. Salif could have ended it in the 4th but held back and poor refereeing cost him the fight.
Yes I watched it live and I was gobsmacked when the ref threw Salif out.....I felt bad for Salif and the German boxing community should all be ashamedQuote:

Always gotta give Cortez a mention, Ortega had a annoying Cortez like performance in the Berto-Ortiz fight if I remember correctly. Breaking as soon as they start in fighting.

Remember Danny Williams was beating up an undefeated German and the same corrupt ref stole the fight from him but not in this obvious way. I would punch the ref accidental.

OMFG... That was so blatantly obvious. What a horrible ref the commission should over turn the result and that ref should never be allowed to ref ANY fighter EVER again. Man That dude must be too nice because I sure as hell wouldn't let that ref or the fighter touch me after the fight.
Marling B. Wright- Librado Andrada came from behind to knock Lucian Bute out in the last round, only to have the knockout nullified by Marling Wright's blatant and inexplicable refusal to count.
And the worst part is that, despite this obvious fraud, Marling Wright continues to work as a ref.

One of the most corrupt refs of the past decade has to be that guy from Tszyu-Hatton.. He was probably payed extra under the table.
