Re: Barn Burners of "Memory Lane" ---- revisited
I love this fight. Tszyu ate some many flush rights from Phillips it's almost unbelievable he stayed up. Fatigue got to Tszyu eventually tho. Tszyu was excellent defensively as an amateur and early in his career but his style had changed by this point.

Here's a fight at the lowest weight class that was thrilling.

Tito must have been carrying something in that left hook, just unnatural power.
Vargas showed and lost his balls in that fight.

Me too I remember I was living in East Orange New Jersey and I saw it when it aired. People were so terrified of Courage back then they thought he was going to be the next George Foreman

Loved everything about this. Youth vs experience, Kronk and Manny, live fights on Tuesday and fan 'poll' to bring Ras-I in. Bramble was a rock. Still in my 20's so big plus also ;D http://youtu.be/gTHbiqTOZFQ

I remember that fight and I was a Carr fan and he did well to come back from the knock down. His left hook is the sweetest punch I have ever seen thrown from a boxer. A thing of beauty.
