Boxers Who Beat Women or Do Other Despicable Things
Sergey Kovalev is up on charges of assaulting a woman, but he says he's not guilty, so we should give him the benefit of the doubt until he has his day in court.
There are a lot of boxers who beat up women and did other despicable things. Anyone know of some who are not on this list?
Carlos Monzon - assaulted his wife many times and ended up murdering her
Marcus Browne - assaulted his former girlfriend
Floyd Mayweather - beat up his former common law wife in front of the children
Jurgen Braehmer - convicted of assaulting women
Sugar Ray Robinson - beat up his wife so bad she had a miscarriage
Deontay Wilder - arrested for choking a Las Vegas hooker
Gerald McClellan - assaulted women and had his fighting dogs tear up a gentle dog (a labrador)
Adonis Stevenson - pimp enforcer, beat up teen-aged prostitutes to keep them in line, forced them to fight each other naked as he watched
Dereck Chisora - beat up and terrorized his ex-girlfriend
Diego Corrales - severely beat up his pregnant wife
Edwin Valero - killed his wife
Evander Holyfield - assaulted his wife
Ike Ibeaubuchi - kidnapped a woman and held her hostage as a sex slave
Jake Lamotta - assaulted his wife
Paul Spadafora - shot pregnant girlfriend
Roger Mayweather - choked a young woman
Eamonn Magee - convicted of beating up a woman
Adrien Broner - assaulting a woman and other things
Victor Ortiz - turned himself in after raping a woman
Jermain Taylor - domestic assault and other things

Two words..Tony Ayala. Esteban DeJesus killed a kid after a traffic accident. James Butler murdered a guy. Keith Holmes was arrested for trying to shoot someone and won a title the next day. Pretty sure we've all done some despicable things apart from crimes of violence.

Why does this racist POS deserve his day in court, you listed others without them being convicted? You really don’t care about the legal judgement you make that clear. You just want the racist POS protected.

I mentioned four boxers who have not been convicted: Sergey Kovalev and Marcus Browne, plus Adrien Broner (who has been found guilty of a variety of despicable things in the past) and Victor Ortiz (who has not yet been sentenced, but has confessed to his rape charges).
Do you feel the same way about Sugar Ray Robinson and Floyd Mayweather as you do about Kovalev?

Woman beaters are the pits..there’s just no excuse for it.
That includes all the greats you mentioned..that’s why Roy Jones will always be my favourite fighter..both inside and outside of the ring.
Gerald McClellan claimed dog incident seems to be some justification for the situation he is in now?!
It’s okay to kill and eat meat but suddenly it’s the worst thing in the world to fight dogs?!
Dog fighting is terrible but G-man does not deserve blindness, deaf and brain drama for life..many have done worse.

He also raped and seriously injured a man in prison about ten years ago.
I imagine he's still in prison, same institution as Teddy Atlas' brother Tommy who killed their grandmother and years later while incarcerated, killed another prisoner with a shovel.

That's a poor comparison, it's like asking - How come it's OK to beat people unconscious in a sanctioned event (boxing) but not OK to randomly attack people in the street? You are trying to find a correlation between chalk and cheese.
Dog fighting and rooster fighting (your hero Roy's passion) and all animal cruelty is disgusting, just like men who beat up women are disgusting (unless they have a genuine reason like the dinner was late or something).
