Re: Punch Count Statistics
Not to answer your question with a question but look at it this way. the opening bell rings and fighter A throws a straight hand and fighter B his guard high and fighter A winds up landing on the point of fighter B's elbow and breaks a metacarpal and cannot continue. Does fighter Fighter B win because fighter A cant continue or does fighter A win because he landed the only punch in the fight? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Fighter B wins for the reason you have stated. Next question please.
Re: Punch Count Statistics
Go to the score cards before 4 rounds........... the only punch landed = 1 point, so fighter wins 10-9
Re: Punch Count Statistics
If a fight is stopped because of a cut from accidental headbutt or other reason it goes to scorecards after 4 completed rounds.
If the fight is stopped in like the 1st or 3rd rd its a techical draw.
If 4 rounds are completed the judges score the partial rund & turn in their cards. The fight is scored as a offiical fight.

Always appreciate and salute the quality over quantity. It's like dating :cwm13:. I've always disliked the scoring of partial rounds, a round is a round completed and they don't use a 5 point system anymore.
Re: Punch Count Statistics
I love those rounds though where that's fighter landing 30 "blocked" punches to the arms and shoulders and hips. It's that's barrage of punches which slowly chopping down that tree
