I'm a big fan of classic movies. American movies from the 30's 40's and fifties are true art. I've been trying to get a copy of sorry wrong number but the disks go from 50 to 90 dollars online and I couldn't justify spending that. Found one in South Korea for 5 bucks. I quite agree. I really like old films too. I have an almost full Hitchock collection. I really enjoy them. I think once you have seen a good Hitchcock film you have seen a lot of what you need to see in cinema. I enjoy some other adventure/action films. Indiana Jones was really Hitchcock done comic book style and Bourne was Hitchcock for the 21st century, but the genesis is all there in the work of Hitchcock. It just seemed to me a better world then. I also sneakily admire a lot of the bad guys in those Hitchcock films. I love Norman Bates, Uncle Charlie, Bruno etc. They are quite charming people really, but they are completely mad too. I love all that.
True, I just watched a tree grows in Brooklyn which is probably one of the best movies made. Damn near perfect. No special effects and it's almost like a film crew spied on a family. It's is perfect. If you haven't seen it yet do so I will refund the price of admission if u don't like it
