"Regis Prograis vs. Danielito Zorrilla Set For June 17 in New Orleans"
So it went from Liam Paro... to Arnold Barboza... now to Danielito Zorrilla. Zorrilla gets 3 weeks notice... so I hope he makes the most of it. He's a local fighter who's nowhere to be found in the top 15 of the alphabet orgs... and is only the 3rd best super lightweight in Puerto Rico (behind Subriel Matias and José Pedraza). On paper, it looks like an uphill climb for Zorrilla... but hopefully he takes advantage of the opportunity.

Was trying to get in on this one but going to miss it locally. Brutal full day lined up, drop-offs into evening and it went sideways on getting to Arena after. Loving the local coverage and appearances with Prograis, has a genuine old school fight town feel. Short notice will be a factor for Zorilla but it's all about rising up. Wouldn't shock me to see Prograis find him a bit more than expected. I think Prograis needs to stamp this his moment, Teo just barged in your house take care of Saturday and make Teo or Haney your focus.

Zorilla has very long arms, makes it look like he's a weight class above, werewolf man(who didn't wear the mask to the ring, boooooo), isn't having the best time but is still winning.
Re: Prograis vs Zorrilla set for June 17th
Missed entire card but sounds like Prograis stuck in his coasting form? He gets too cute for his own good. Have not seen a single positive word about the fight thus far :-X. Anyone have a score ???
Re: Prograis vs Zorrilla set for June 17th
Zorilla robbed of a knockdown in the first round, maybe not quite coasting, zorilla was defensive and did it well and prograis had a tough time getting at him, he landed some good whacks and did knock zorilla down too, so he'll get the win but it wasn't superstar stuff. Split decision win for Reginald

I also didn't score it but i thought prograis won with the knockout not especially well..and not as well as the guys who had him winning had :S.

Standard issue hometown let down strikes again. Saw a clip of missed kd looked like he felt the first right hand more than the second and knew it. Have to wonder if a spoiler and Zorilla style shares a close fight then what would Haney do. Regis wasted so much time career wise
Re: Prograis vs Zorrilla set for June 17th
I thought he was having a lot of trouble getting past the long arms so it made the fight appear dull..i actually thought it was a good fight, zorilla was doing what he could v a more powerful guy and did the defensive game well and Reggie just didn't do a great job getting into him..i thought it was interesting stuff..
As for the missed knockdown, it looked to me thike he took a good whack to the face and tried to grab zorilla to stay up and missed the grab...so easy knockdown, the ref was very kind there.

regis got the job done & this performance might encourage other top guys to fight him. i had regis winning by three points
