Berchelt vs Roman on ESPN+
This fight has been set down for Nov-3.
I thought this would have been put on but HBO, as both guys have fought on the network recently. Seemed like a lot of interest in this fight with Showtime, HBO and DAZN all pursuing the fight.
Roman is a warrior, despite his less than stellar record and his fight with Saildo was a foty candidate.
Berchelt has gone from strength to strength since a surprise first round stoppage back in '14.
Looking forward to this one, could be a possible fight of the year.

This should be good. Gotta lean heavy Berchelt who really has done well to slowly carve himself a spot. That's a good point on HBO and the power of the 'world exposure' and co featuring future rivals. Feels like so many single decent matches are a bit scattered with espn+ and so many other avenues now that they go under the radar. Linares coming back on FB tonight..FB ???..and crickets. Looks like Machado has the hbo slot a week earlier to Roman and Berchelt. Style wise a unification would be a helluva fight.

Hoping for an excellent fight. Got to hand it to Roman as well for rebuilding over again, that Salido fight was fantastic.
Berchelt has to be the fav. Would like to see some unifications at this weight.
Opponent choice for Linares could be a contributing factor, watched but went as expected.
Loving some of the free content lately tho, Tanaka/Kimura for example.

FTR Berchelt wanted to unify but Loma moved up. Not judging Loma, he has good fights to make at 35. Just saying Berchelt has shown interest in unifying before.

It's a fight I would have liked before Loma moved up, there are currently 4 other 'title' holders he can unify with at 130, so let's see if some of these fights get made.
