Michael Spinks - A notorious slow starter.

Juan Estrada and Badou Jack come to mind for today.

Marvin Hagler , apart from against Tommy Hearns.

Canelo starts slow in a lot of his top fights and then picks the gears up when required.

Julio Caesar Chavez would take the first four or five rounds to figure his opponent out. He would gradually increase the pressure and force a very fast pace in the latter rounds.

Tito Trinidad needed a few rounds to get into his rhythm. He suffered a few early round knockdowns but would usually be able to up his pace and break his opponent’s will late in fights.

BHOP began focusing more on efficiency and economy of movement, especially early in his fights, after he unified the middleweight division at 36. He started very slow vs. Robert Allen, Oscar, Howard Eastman, and the strategy cost him a disputed decision vs Jermain Taylor.

Lennox Lewis....he could be really poor in the first rounds when unmotivated.

Bernard Hopkins had the math done so he would start slow and pick up momentum in the later rounds...Jermain Taylor took advantage of that.

Funny, exact guys that sprung to my mind

Floyd Mayweather Jr in his more recent fights...he's been like Bernard Hopkins but with flash.

Wondering if in his own way Wilder is showing more of this. At least when he fights good fighters. JMM and Toney. Santa Cruz lately. Eubank sr took a little time to start rolling.
