Here comes DDD, he's in with a big guy tonight, I'd like to see someone give him a bit of a fight
Re: Anthony Yarde v Tony Averl - Box nation 24th Feb 2018
DDD trying the Tyson look all black attire and no socks.
Jones survives the first
Re: Anthony Yarde v Tony Averl - Box nation 24th Feb 2018
Triple D struggling to get his punches off in the 2nd but wins it on strength alone.
Re: Anthony Yarde v Tony Averl - Box nation 24th Feb 2018
Be quick triple D, I want to hear the Smith fight.
Re: Anthony Yarde v Tony Averl - Box nation 24th Feb 2018
Triple D ends it in the 3rd but did look sluggish
Re: Anthony Yarde v Tony Averl - Box nation 24th Feb 2018
He's not boxing very well, but how the fuck does Yarde make LHW. He's fucking MASSIVE!
Re: Anthony Yarde v Tony Averl - Box nation 24th Feb 2018
Great turn over and Yarde wins.
Hate when they have 2 fights on different channels at the same time.
Re: Anthony Yarde v Tony Averl - Box nation 24th Feb 2018
Yarde getting some rounds but looks tired in the 7th.
Re: Anthony Yarde v Tony Averl - Box nation 24th Feb 2018
Corner pulls Averl out, would have liked to see how Yarde looked in another round or two.
Re: Anthony Yarde v Tony Averl - Box nation 24th Feb 2018
Yarde is in year 4 and 26. How long before he starts with legit challenges?

Yeah, but the kid had no amateur experience and before today had only boxed less than 30 rounds.
Do you think he's ready for any more than this. When you say legit challenges, his opponent lasted 7 rounds. Who do you reckon is a legit challenge?

To be fair, Sjekloca fought to a disputed draw with faded former world champ Stieglitz prior to Yarde taking him out. I think he's at about the right level. Don't know how possible it is but I'd like to see him in with the Buglioni/ Johnson winner.

Not saying too much, top 40, then top 30 next fight.

By the looks of things, that's probably what happens. Looking at his last 2 opponents , there has been a steady progress with Sjelocka and this guy.
You've had all the usual "future World Champion" hype from those around him, but as we all know, there are no guarantees and he is a long, long way from that currently.
The old fashioned route of domestic, European/Commonwealth then competing at World level is probably his best option.
