The onus is on nobody but you. If you want to call somebody a racist then you should have a good reason for doing so not just the fact that your own prejudice and unabashed bias is using that as a way to discredit someone's perfectly rational argument. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence or integrity can see my comments were specifically to highlight the difference in zeitgeist (current climate) between the first series of Top Boy and 3rd - which was made 10 years later.
London is currently rife with drug/knife/gang crime, with black single mothers and absent single dads held up as part of the problem along with people in power - government. Acid attacks weren't heard of back then. Turk/Cypriot drug barons were the daddy. Eastern European gangs moved in. The whole demographic changed. "Black" areas became "white" and "white" became "black." Middle-class/Rich "white" people buy more drugs than anyone else. These are real life topics the drama incorporated during the current era it was set, my only point was it became a little stereotypical.
I wasn't "offended" by the portrayal of any character in the drama.
