I'm hearing reports Canelo is tied to the cartels in Jalisco too. So too war Erik Morales in Tijuana, but he is now a politician in Mexico which seems to fit the profile. lol... Boxing is a dirty game and it would be foolish to think that only American fighters are plagued by mobsters and mafioso type individuals.

Yeh this aftermath is all kinds of shady and gets into another issue entirely. But DHS knew the where and when and chose to wait to act on the charges and green card issue. Unfortunately, I think this entire immigration arbitrary 'round ups' happening now is about to become more massive and it's not the last time "foreign" athletes and events will become flare up points for ICE.
