Default How High Can Pac Go?

I've pretty much given hope on the Pac vs Mayweather fight ever happening. I think Pac has maybe 2/3 fights left now, if that. By the time Mayweather sorts his life out, it will probably be too late.

So what I now want to see Pac do is keep climbing through the weights, fighting bigger and bigger guys until eventually he gets beat. I want to see exactly how far he can go and I have a sneaking suspicion so does he.

So next fight, will they take one at 160? After that is 170 possible?

The more appropriate question is how much weight can Pac's opponents go at fight night?

Because Pac will stay at 150. He's not gonna go higher than that. He's keeping the speed.

    That's what I meant.

How high of an opponent can he face before he gets found out?

    Could he go middle?

He could. Actually that's what Roach have in mind if Mayweather pussy out again. I believe he can handle Williams but not Martinez.

Frankly I'm against it. He could be fighting guys 25+ lbs heavier than him.

At 170 he would have his head removed from his shoulders.
I don't think he can go any higher (assuming the oppostion is good). I think at 150 he could be beat by someone able to make the weight advantage mean something - Ie by being able to get in close, stay in close and lever in some consistant, forceful, bodyshots (easier said than done).

Tremendous risk for manny going higher than 154. I'm starting to think even Pirog, if he makes 154 would stop him judging by the way pac got hit last night. Feel free to bash me up for this but I think Pirog's the real deal

He's a beast I'll give you that! Too early to be classed as the real deal yet though.

On the weight difference and comparing it to heavyweights, some may argue that because they are bigger guys, 25lbs isn't as much more of an advantage, but % wise, I bet there have been some huge mismatches (in fact I know there has) especially compared to the next step for Pac.

I just don't see how people here say Martinez is overrated or it's a victory for Pac.
IMO, Martinez has the distance and timing better than anyone else right now that heavy.
Add the south paw and in and out style he display along with his strength, I just don't see it.

I remember when people and even Bob Arum said he would never put Pac in with guys like Cotto and Margarito. He destroyed them and now is off to middleweight possibly. Who really knows. The crazy thing is I think he could give paul williams and martinez hell. He is fast and powerful. I dont care how much he weighs....

Would Pac be able to be in with a fighting chance against:

    Super Mid

    Bute
    Froch
    Dirrell
    Ward
    Abrham
    Kesler
    Pavlik

    Middleweight

    Williams
    Martinez
    Sturm
    Chave Jnr

I think he struggles at Middleweight, but I'd give him a decent chance still, Super Middle is a step too far, although I'd love to see him give it a go! I'm sure he would cause a few problems on his way.

It may not seem like it right now, in the euphoria following the Margarito fight. But there IS a ceiling on how high Pac can go. IMO, anything above middleweight is a stretch.

He can go wherever he likes. He can fight anyone for anytitle as long as it's under 154.

I expect him to a challenge a top light middleweight for the cruiserweight title at a 149 pound catch weight. that could complete his legacy....
