Sad to post that we have lost another fighter...

Efren was a fighter who was not the most skilled but he made up for it with heart and determination. He was tough and rugged fighter who was rarely in a boring fight because one thing was certain. He came to fight.

His upset win over Chartchai Chionoi and the fact that he fought the best available opposition around places him in the top 20 best Flyweights of all time. Me personally he's more in the 25-30 range but that's just my opinion.

All in all a fighter who left it all in the ring and never gave up until he accomplished his dream of wining a title.

RIP Efren. Thoughts and prayers are with family.
