Doves

I've posted on this band before, but I must reiterate - the Doves are an amazing UK band. I've felt for a long time that the best music comes out of Britain and this band just strengthens my hunch.


Last time I was raving about there latest album 'Some Cities', well I yesterday bought the one prior to that, 'The Last Broadcast', and fuck me if it's not just as good if not better.


If you guys are into moody, progressive, wierdly instrumented (clarinet??!!) pop music, you could do a lot worse than checking out the Doves.

lost souls is an amazing album. favourite track for me is pounding. saw em live in 2002 awesome. lead singer was also part of a dance band in the early 90s called sub sub
