Default Stop jumping on the Hatton bandwagon!!

You can't call any fighter sh*t or a coward, and the one's that do generally have never been in a ring. Its easy to talk a good fight from ringside. Boxing is the most unpredictable sport around, with so many variables, which is part of the reason we "all" love it so much. Collazo could go on to be a great fighter or disappear, but that will not take away from his performance on the night. Stop giving Hatton a hard time, after the Kosta win he could have milked it the way other new champions do, but he took on fights that were harder than they should be because he is a true fighter. One bad night so therefore he must be sh*t. Name me one great fighter in history who didn't have an off night, and if judged by that wouldn't be that great?
And as for the people talking about Hatton getting destroyed, or getting a gift decision, or Collazo being robbed I hope for your sake and for the future discussions on this board that you know the actual true couse of the fight, because otherwise it would really show up you boxing knowledge.

    a very real posting

Boxing is indeed very unpredictable and there are hordes who judge the fighters by doing battle with a keyboard....I agree completely with your posting. Nicely put.

Excellent posting, well made points,CC.I admit Hatton was not impressive but when people say that he was exposed or similar nonsense,it is really agitating! They have no idea of the meaning of exposure in boxing contexts!

agreed. hatton won and its not as though he embarrassed himself. the current anti hatton feeling seems to have the faint reek of hate...

Only time will tell which way Collazzo's career goes but i have a suspicion he may become the most avoided fighter in the welters for some time!

    WTF??

it is quite simple since Hatton's fight there has probably been the most threads created ever, to basically discredit, insult and make him out to be some fraud there has ever been and remember he actully won the fight!! So i agree with the Thread starter alot of people are jumping on the hate Hatton bandwagon.
