    Default Which performance was worse?

Johnny Nelson -v- Carlos De Leon?

    Audley Harrison -v- Danny Williams?

My vote goes to Nelson. As bad as Harrison was against Williams (& Guinn for that matter), he couldn't top Nelson's shoulder shrugging marathon against De Leon.

Harrison -v- Williams was quite funny in round 10, when the con man was decked & Frank Warren jumped up with joy & also in round 11, when the tin man actually threw & landed a punch that hurt Williams! It was very funny watching Harrison trying to finish off Williams, but missing virtually every follow up punch & due to his appalling stamina, he was dead on his feet at the end of the 11th.

Nelson -v- De Leon was 12 rounds of shoulder shrugging, mind numbing tedium!

In fairness Johnny he was still a novice Pro. De Leon was a seasoned counter puncher,Iwas their and I found it interresting

i remember watching nelsons title effort on tv and it bored me rigid. at least with harrison/williams the last 3 rounds had some action. nelsons 2nd title attempt against james waring in 92 wasnt much better either

both as bad as each other. as said nelson eas only a pup at the time, harrison an olympic champion. he's going to be living with his dissapointment for a long time, nelson turned it around.

I suppose they did meet a couple of times, so they probably could cancel each other out. And Andries did not start to improve until 82/83.

I do not know if you have ever seen it, but Minter/MagdziarzIII was a horror show. So much so Harry Gibbs walked out on the bout in the fourth, because literally neither fighter had landed a punch (and that is not an exaggeration, yes they feinted and threw the odd punch, but no one had landed a punch), despite numerous warnings to up the work rate.
