Default Just watched Cotto-Torres again *WOW*

everytime i see this fight it gets my adrenaline running. Holy smokes that Miguel Cotto's heart is as big as Puerto Rico, he was in trouble so many times but kept going in for the kill and was constantly throwing punches instead of tieing the fighter (not that cotto is one dimentional, he is definetly a sound boxer). and that knockdown was more of a push down.

that malignaggi is in trouble coz even as elusive as the experts make him out to be if one of those left hooks to the body lands his elusiveness will go down the drain and he will have to fight cotto.

"Very few people really understand what it means to be a fighter. I hate it when I hear someone say, 'That fighter doesn't have guts. I hate that, I don't care if you're a world champion six times over or a four-round fighter, to step inside that ring, you have to have guts" Oscar De La Hoya

Cotto was up shit creek in that fight against a relativley small man, saying that Torres hasnt fought since, Cotto would be KO but Castillo in my opinion, he is exciting to watch id love to see a Hatton fight though.

Miguel was off that night due to him believeing the hype that he was the new Tito. If he boxes like Cotto fans know he is capable of,combined with the banging power,he is P4P worthy and I am certain he can beat JLCby outboxing him. The Torres fight was a poor example of his D,but it also showed his incredible heart, courage and he was not even knocked down after all those shots in round2,it was a push. Just because someone is small does not mean they cannot bang...Tito and Torres KOEd all but 2 of his opponents! I think he could beat JLC.

Points taken Game, but Torres cant really be judged from the tomato cans he was knocking out back in the Columbian gyms lets she him fight a contender then we can really look at the Cotto fight, but i will give Miguel the benefit of doubt for one of night, but Castillo i feel will be to much.

Yes it was really a very great fight before Peter VS Wladimir . . . Cotto was the more smart and tactical boxer but Torres had really very good powerfull pınches too and knock Cotto out but Cotto have really a great chin and come back and then KO Torres out and OUT . . .

Yeah,no,I agree,Torres fought bums but I mean I was just giving an example of his banging power. To be honest,IF Miguel does lose to Castillo,I won't be dissappointed as long as he puts up a great fight. I just think he can outbox him and he certainly has the power to keep ANYONE off. I just see every quality in the boy,and I cannot wait to see him at 147!!! I still want him to beat JLC,what a name to have on your resume!
