Yes for $15 you can't beat the convenience the protection is tops! highly recommend

but what protection, other than the knuckles, do the gel wraps offer?

evergel wraps protect the hand and the wrist also, it wraps around the wrist tight and give you the same support that you enjoy in a regular hand wrap, only this is more easy of f and on, and for me that’s a plus, because in my training I jump back and forth doing different things so it save time and keep frustration low , great for the speed bag also.

I just don't see these offering any support across the width of the hand, or with impact on the wrist.

good post. cc. My traner said the same thing so I bought a (much cheaper) second pair of regular wraps. The only way to go.

I honestly don't see how the gel wraps would protect anything but the knuckles anyway. But to each his own.

Indeed, Handwraps were essentially give support to the wrist as well as extra support to the fists, those gloves dont do shit for your wrists.

Pretty useless really as there is enough padding in the gloves to cover your hand up pretty well so they kinda got rid of the main thing, to protect the wrist. But if people are gunna buy em they are gunna sell em.
