Default How Does Oneil Bell Stack Up Against The Heavies??

Hey What do You Think Of The Supernova O'neil Bell...I think he is exciting Especially after watching him beat the Piss out of Jean Marc Mormeck who is no light puncher, Cant see him Hanging at Cruiser that much Longer....Love to see him make the move..

I am not comparing him but he is the Most signifigant Cruiserweight in About 20 years..Since you Know who

I think he needs to stay at Cruiser and fight Guilerm Jones and the other names out there. If he moves up to HW he will get hurt. He has horrible defense and his chin is not granite by any means. Tons of heart and good power though, but at cruiser, not at HW. Jirov was all round a better fighter and look what happend to him when he jumped up to HW.

Very exciting to watch, I don't think he will do well at Heavy.

Jirov is coming back down, that would be an exciting fight!!

I agree but for some reason Jirov seems like damaged goods

Yeah, those wars at heavy took a toll on him. He is tough as nails though. Glad he is coming back down.

Can't believe he lost to Orlin Norris.

Orlin Norris was a good cruiser. And by that Time Jirov was shot from fightin Toney, Mesi, and bein KO'd by fat ass Michael Moorer.

I agree with Hulk. He took alot of punishment in that fight with Mormeck, absorbed alot of blows he wouldn't have if he had better defense. In my opinion he didn't demolish Jean-Marc he just outlasted him. Jean-Marc was breathing pretty heavy in the latter rounds, courtesy of those power punches he had been throwing all night. Bell is a good fighter to be able to sustain the punches he took, throw punches back, and to look relatively fresh at the end but the further you go up in weight the harder the punches are going to be. And if he thinks he is going to be able to take as many power punches as he did in the Mormeck fight and stay on his feet he better wake up.

There's one man standing in front of every cruiser out there before they go up to heavyweight, that man is David Haye.

CW he might rule for awhile...with Jirov and Jones out there we'll see...I think if he goes up in weight he will have his a** handed to him...If he had world class defense like JFAT or the elusiveness of Byrd(with exception of the Wlad fight) or Holyfield(chin and heart) he would stand a chance.....but he has none of these...hence the a** beating that awaits him at heavy...we'll get to see in the "super fight tournament" or whatever they are calling it in a few months.....
It feels good to be back home.

I relly felt for Jirov in the Moorer fight cause he had it in the bag before he got kod. But Moorer could never be counted out of a fight till the last second
