Cotto KO in 10th round. People concentrate on the division weight to much. All you have to do is make the weight and then you can arrive in the ring at whatever weight you like. Cotto put on 17 pounds since weigh-in in his fight with DeMarcus Corley.

Mate you dont understand what i mean do you??

It's the fact Cotto has to go to extremes to make weight, which for me will make him weaker in the second half of the fight especially against a guy who is super fit and a non stop action fighter for 36 minutes, the dieting and extremes to make 140 i feel will take effect on his stamina in the later rounds against Hatton.

Miguel is not stupid,he would not take this fight @ 140,it would be at 147, and I am backing Cotto allllllll the way.Hatton should not be warning Cotto,he should be more concerned about his won form@147!Go and beat Collazo convincingly first!
However,if my boy is dumb enough to fight Hatton@140,I am pretty sure Hatton would beat him!!

I understand what you mean but Hatton is not a boxer he is a brawler. He likes to wrestle with you on the inside and he likes to trade shots and against a much bigger fighter it will be his downfall. He is going to catch alot of shots from a heavy-handed Cotto who may be tired in the latter rounds but will still pack enough of a punch to put down Ricky Hatton. Even if Cotto is tired in the second half of the fight, Hatton's boxing style won't let him take advantage of it.

Cotto is gonna come in weighing around 165 on fight night. Shit, Cotto is basically a welterweight anyways, his body looks like a welterweight, and I think that he has welterweight power at 140, especially to the body. If Ricky thought that he had problems with Collazo's power, he's gonna be in for a shock when Cotto comes in like a middleweight with even more power. Cotto is gonna KO Hatton late IMO, but I might be wrong.

I would like to see the difrence in Cotto if he dosen't have to drain him self those 7lbs, I think Cotto would come in much like against abdulaev and counter punch all night, although Hatton is much more physical and agrresive, but it would be something if they both engaged in a slugfest. Either way its gona be a great fight.

Bet people were doubting Mayweather's greatness after the first Castillo fight, which makes sense. Gonna take a little more than that for me to lose faith in the hitman though

If at 140 I think Hatton wins a war by UD, at 147 I dunno

People were doubting Mayweather all the way up to his fight with Gatti. Then after that masterful performence people started to believe.
