Castillo will destroy Cotto, annihalate him, and prove Cottos chin is weak.

Cotto couldnt live with the sheer ability of Jose Luis, I just cant see a way for Cotto.

Castillo gave Mayweather all kinds of problems, and Mayweather would demolish Cotto as Cotto couldnt even knock out Malignaggi, and thats the kind of fighter flloyd is, except P4P#1, so to be honest Castillo KO or very one sided decision.

And I hate Flloyd, and dont care for castillo, so Im not being biased.....

id say cotto has more boxing ability. but jlc has more 1 punch power and a better chin, so this could be interesting, i think it would be a great fight tho with cotto taking a spliit decision. If hes sensible and fights to his strengths.

In terms of ability, Cotto has more. Are you kidding? Ability, sheer ability. Cotto has tremendous ability.

What I would say is that Castillo is tough, strong, relentless, aggressive and a very experienced professional. Cotto is green in the sense that he still hasn't stepped right upto the big leagues, though has flirted on the peripheral of that bracket, and his chin is pretty shaky.

But in speed, sharpness, boxing ability, jab, combination punching even I'd favour Cotto.

I'd favour Cotto overall in this match. Castillo isn't a big one-punch KO artist, and even less so if he moves upto 140 to face Cotto (who comes in very heavy on fight night). I think Cotto would win a decision, 115-113 or similar. He'd box, face some difficult moments, but overall come out on top.

If it goes ahead I would want Cotto to win.

still cant forgive Castillio for being overweight at the Coralles fight

Castillo does grind down opponents, but I just reckon Cotto would be sharper, would outspeed the Mexican, land the flashier, and better punches, and touch him with the left hook to the body.

There's always the risk Cotto will get caught - and hurt. But he's at his most lethal when hurt. Just ask Torres or Corley. And don't forget his boxing ability. He can deal with pressure - see the Lovemore N'Dou fight. Cotto was on the move for the full 12, and boxed quite brilliantly at times.

It could end up looking a little like the Castillo-Floyd 1 fight. Only I don't think Cotto will spend too much time on the ropes. And at centre ring Cotto has too much for J.L

Until now Cotto is underrated, already brushing him off. This would be a very competitive fight. Cotto has very good combinations and you all say he has a weak chin, dude all Torres could do was punch punch and punch and Cotto tried to do the same but he has more than that. That's why he prevailed, I see Cotto winning a SD/even a late round stoppage.
