James Toney appreciation thread, hate him or love him?

I really cant find out do the majority of boxing fans like him or not, but he has to be one of the most entertaining characters outside of the ring in boxing history, I still don't know why him and Mike Tyson don't have their own reality shows, but no matter what you feel about him he is a HOF. Could you imagine a press conference with him against Iron Mike, it would be insane.

Actually Bobby has gone gangster in the last couple of years, he was alway's an asshole outside of the studio, but now he has decided to reflect that in his music and go hardcorps mainstream, but even after that I don't see Toney coming out to his bloody music.

this is why...
he never ducks a guy. and hes fought some of the best in a fair few divisions.
no matter how arogant or wrong he is... im never mad at him because he is strait entertainment!!
and no matter how bad shape he comes into a fight, he always brings his a game and his skill far surpasses his fitness and thats how hes got so far...
and its always good to see him fight because he is a natural middlewieght, who always fights the best. and hes now in the heavyweight division, still getting good fights still entertaining, and still never been stopped ... if you ask me thats fucking incredible

why toney does not have a reality show, you gotta be able to string together 3 successful english words, I thought the press conference with toney and ruiz was hysterical, ruiz said this guy listen to him thats why you stay in school or something, and toney you fight like a retarted man and then got into ruiz\s boxing stance

I pretty much despise Toney from head to toe...but he's a hell of a fighter & I respect him as a fighter...I just wish that he'd stayed at cruiser or lower.

I can understand why people don't like him, he's the ultimate love or hate type guy, thing is he used to be funny IMO, not sure he really is anymore, but there's not one guy I'd rather watch fight than Toney. Nobody.

Toney/Nunn was one of the first fights that really got me into boxing.

Hate him. I don't care how "skilled" he is...the man is not a professional in the true sense...he doesn't know how to train his body. Always showing up overweight against some stiff heavyweights....and he thinks he is a great champion. Hasn't had a great match/performance since Jirov. As far as him being entertaining...I have seen better trash talkers...Toney is like an incoherent grumbler. The only thing entertaining is how jiggly he looks in the ring. I also love the fact that he attributes the butt kicking he got from Roy Jones to him being "out of shape" and that if he was in shape he would have knocked Roy out!! Haha. Dream on James. You just keep fighting those crappy heavyweights.
