Default Calzaghe would beat Woods and Johnson easyyyyy

although it was a gd fight last night i can see JC beating both of these, i had johnson winning the fight by 1 round, but i think if woods boxed the right way by staying on the outside and smashing jabs and johnson he would have won the fight with ease i couldnt understand why woods was mixing it up with him.

they wouldnt have no answer for calzaghes speed or combinations

I love how Calzaghe beats an OOOOOLD Chris Eubank and a YOUNG Jeff Lacy and "Nobody can beat him"...Calzaghe is a bum!

a good fighter but much like Floyd Mayweather Jr. he has never applied himself vs anyone that's good

I like Joe, but lets not get carried away with the Hype... Woods and Johnson would likely be the ones giving Calzaghe the questions... they are both good boxers... he wouldn't be able to beat either man a fraction as badly as he beat Jeff lacy.

The boat is out for me on who would win... he practically admitted that Woods' style would give him problems stylistically before the fight.

Johnson is getting a little long in the tooth methinks...Woods would be a more difficult proposition, and Calzaghe would be moving up in weight. But Calzaghe would be looking to impress, and I have every confidence Calzaghe could decision Woods...

like i said in other post woods is bit similar to woodhall and woodhall gave calzaghe problems and woods is better than woodhall so i expect woods to be very hard nights work for calzaghe

You may not think he is as good as others do, but there is no way that guy is a 'bum'

Personally i do not think Woods OR Johnson would propose any threat to Calzaghe. I think he could stop either late on in the fight.

I agree he is no bum...I respect JC I think the point Lyle is trying to eloquently make that he is good but never shows his true potential why I don't know? Is it his promoter? is it contentment? on Joe's part...I mean how do you follow up a virtuoso performance against Lacy, Fighting this ham and egger C'mon even the most staunch Calzaghe supporter has to be somewhat frustrated....Were is Joe's urgency he is getting older, his hands are getting more brittle, why risk damaging your hands against a subpar opponent...

I mean know one on God's green earth should question Floyd Mayweather's choice of opponents with out looking at Joe's....I like Joe allot I just wish he would take it to the bona fide elite level
