Valuev is currently out with a knee injury, but Warren is angling to get Skelton a shot at the giant Russian later this year.

ive got a q boat this. how cum he gets the title shot? danny won the 1st fight and after the 1st win warren was saying that he was getting a title shot. but now skelton won the 2nd fight and it was fully deserved imo, how cum there isnt a 3rd match up to tie the series up its only fair imo. but i do realsie danny did recive a good spanking from skelton. but all i want to know is how come danny didnt get his shot? was it because valuev was busy or he didnt want the fight? im just curious

if skelton can get a world title then bring tht back to britain tht would make the 3rd fight alot more important and help the title stay in britain

I don't think the fans will be clamouring to see these two in the ring again. Matt has won both fights pretty convincingly in most people's eyes, Danny doesn't deserve any more chances, he's a waste of space.

I don't think the fans will be clamouring to see these two in the ring again. Matt has won both fights pretty convincingly in most people's eyes, Danny doesn't deserve any more chances, he's a waste of space.

Man, that last fight between Danny and Matt was one hell of a snoozefest, compared with the first. Skelton played smart, but he's hardly Darren Gough when it comes to a footwork now is he? If he got a shot at Valuev,he'd probably try the same tactic, keep out of range, punches in bunches, and hope to take a points decision.
The problem would be, Valuev has a much better range and reach, making it harder to get in and out quickly, but more importantly, he cuts off the ring much better than Danny did. And at 23 stone, he probably uisn't overly overweight for his height, which Danny was in Cardiff.
Latest rumour is that he's quitting boxing for an acting role. He's going to be the marshmallow man in the next installment of Ghostbusters.
