Marco Materazzi, the man who was physically assaulted in a World Cup final two days ago, is now being hounded by the World's media.

No matter what was said, surely he should be left alone with his friends and family to celebrate winning the biggest tournament in World football.

Materazzi did what thousands of football players do and thats wind players up to seek an advantage. Zidane fell for the oldest trick in the book, no-one to blame but himself.
Gentile is regarded as a legend for booting utter fuck out Maradona yet Materazzi's a disgrace for being the victim of a head-butt.
Further to that ZZ still receives the FIFA award.............I can almost see credence in Maradonas claims about being victimised and hounded over the years by FIFA now!

The guy was representing his nation on the biggest stage in the world, mate you get the mother/sister slurs where ever you go, Matterazi was basically winding him up, but poor Zidane is the victim, the only victims are the French people who would of had a better chance with him on the field.

In hindsight he should'nt have done what he did as he let his team mates down bigtime BUT....
