I'd have to go with Smokin Joe.
Evander had decent power as a heavy, but not enough to discourage Joe. Evanders defense was never great, so I can see Joe bobing and weaving his way inside, and landing his left hook with great consistency.
I dont think Evander would get ko'd, he had to much heart, but the right side of his face would look like a melon from eating those left hooks.
frazier by unanimus decision.
agree with that i remember cooper having holyfield down and out on his feet and he fought bit like joe but joe was way way better than cooper so i think holyfield would get dropped but he would last finish line but lose decision but not easy nights work for fraizer
I actaully really aint sure on this one. Evander had such a great chin and heart you just never know, really can't call it.
I love joe but what about this. Evander took tyson at his best , tyson had better bob duck style and feet ,faster hands better combos more power etc. If tyson couldnt get him fraizer never would. Fraizer outworked opponents,he couldnt outwork evander. Joe is more like a slimmer TUA when tua was younger. I see im in the minority here but i think evander would beat him quite easily.
TYSON WASNT AT HIS BEST , he had fought a total of 8 rounds in 4 years, if u do the math, thats 2 rounds of boxing a year against shi.t opposition!Originally Posted by landmine950

Tyson was nowhere near as good as Joe Frazier!
Joe Frazier beats Evander by decision
Evander would have ALWAYS beaten Mike Tyson
nah, tyson gave evander a hard fight the first time and that wasnt even half the tyson of old!Originally Posted by Lyle
....and if holyfeid didnt hold on like a fukin pussy that he is,tyson would have KOed his a$$ out!
and fraizer would ko holyfeild to...unless that little bitch holds allnight!

They actually have a common opponent. Maybe its hard to gauge it by Foreman, but he still hit like a bull when he fought Holy. Holy by late rounds KO. (In a 15 round fight)
I know plenty about boxing pussy cat and I know Evander had the style, size, and heart to beat TysonOriginally Posted by frozensolid_702
You act like Tyson was really "in the fight" vs Holyfield...Evander never had trouble with him...Tyson had his flurries but Holyfield wasn't too bothered with him
tyson would lead, holyfeild would counter and then hold on for dear lifeOriginally Posted by Lyle
.........ohh and BTW thanks for the sc,but dont worry i wont give u one back.I dont sc people for speaking there mind, next time be a man and own up,dont be a pussy!![]()
....I didn't sad click you stavros
The thing with Holyfield is he smothered anyone that didn't have a good jab. And he fought dirty, and he never got bullied....things that OBVIOUSLY drive Tyson up the wall and make him unable to keep his head on straight and go with his fight plan.
Evander had a great chin, and his defense was also pretty good. And he could throw some good combos as well.
I don't hate Mike Tyson, I just like being realistic about who he could beat...that's all.
In his early fights he fought some lackluster competition, no chin, then no power but a decent chin, then no chin but power, no boxing skills....etc.
Mike Tyson beat: Frank Bruno, Donovan Rudduck, James Smith, James Tillis, Pinklon Thomas, Trevor Berbick, Tony Tucker, Tyrell Biggs, Tony Tubbs, Larry Holmes, and light heavyweight Michael Spinks.
That's pretty good competition but the greats on there Holmes who was past his prime and Spinks who was in the wrong weight class
Tyson wasn't at his best when he fought Evander, but regardless he was still bigger, stronger, and faster than Frazier, and still he couldn't really penetrate Evander's defense... I think Evander would be too big, and too fundementally skilled for Frazier to beat him... He would be sharper on the inside, and far too much superior on the outside. When Tyson or Lewis did hit Evander he didn't go down though they both hurt him at points in their fights they both hit as hard as Foreman if not harder, and Frazier doesn't even come close to them in punching power so I don't think he could hurt Evander with anything but bodyshots. Though Evander doesn't hit as hard as Frazier I believe he is faster, stronger, and a better than Joe Frazier technically by enough to win this inside 12 rounds.
