Now that I think of What does larry know about Boxing more than people in this forum or the guys in tha weird show?. HE just has an HBO spot.

He don't know squat about boxing. I reckon he's actually the grandad of some young hotshot producer and he's been given the slot just so his family can keep an eye on him.

He's clearly suffering from dementia and is more than a little senile.

I hear he lives in a warden controlled block of flats and when not commentating on HBO is usually found wandering around in his dressing gown watering the plants in the communal garden.
