OK.....I tried loading Lime Wire to my Lap Top but I must have done something wrong...Everytime I tried opening it My 'Norton Anti Virus' program would not allow it I even changed the settings on my program to allow access and still I got a window that said 'Firewall Rule' to in affect and did not allow.......


Anyway
was wondering what other programs are out there to get *FREE music?
Or is Lime Wire the best?

its strange because usually when you download anything your firewall asks wether or not to allow a change....and if you allow this change there should not be an issue......

limewire seems to be the best free file sharing tool.....i like it....ive used others but they are just not as fast or as good IMO......

Limewire is definitely the best imo so long as you set the path to my music so that iTunes catches it and you don't have to go searching for the file all the time. Anyways, yeah use limewire if you can't, Morpheus and Ares are two alternatives.

I tried your link and was able to set it up....


Once Lime Wire was up I went to 'File' then Connect and the I typed in a search for a song and a window that says Lime Wire is currecntly connecting to the network your search may not return many results untill it is fully connected.... This happend to me the other time to. Anybody know if this is normal? For it to take a wile to connect to the network?

yup its normal..but it should not take to long to connect if you have a fast connection.....you can change the way lime starts up in the options section....its usually best to use lime once all the bars at the bottom left are filled.....
