If such a measurement (i.e., psi) was taken of the aforementioned hard hitters, I sure would be interested to know. What a good thread!

I would love to see who hit harder, Mike Tyson or George Foreman. If Mike Tyson hit your girlfriend would you fight him, it would all depend on how much I have had to drink, but if I was sober I would only break up the fight.

I never noticed that Tatoo on his belly, who the hell is that, it looks like a young Fidel Castro (back in the late 50's)

apparently taking a punch from mike tyson is the equivalent to getting hit by a 16 lb sledgehammer at 35mph . Dose anyone know how to convert this information in to pounds per square inch(psi).

that cant be right because no one would have been able to last a round with him and he was taken the distance people exagerate how hard he could hit

it's not far fetched for tyson to hit that hard, he is infact a freak of nature being only 5'10 and having the arm span of a person who is 6'5. so physically theres a reason he hit so hard, but when measuring that punch he's standing in place not chasing anyone around. naturally when going after a moving target tyson or anyone would lose some of that power - plus the way fighters prepare to take punishment nullifies it to an extent im sure.
