    Default boxing camps?

I know i have asked about whether or not anywhere puts on boxing camps, but i now know of a place. Look on www.cityboxertravel.com and let me know what you think. They sound good to me but also sound expensive!
    cheers guys

Looks like a good little break, calling it a training camp is a bit rich of them though.

Its a week long and you only train in the mornings, good experience but it's not really going into camp, money pertmiting I'd still like to do that... go to LA or Miami and aend the week with a big fight, go karting, rifle ranges and everything else inbetween.

One problem though, you're only getting a week's worth of morning training then free time in the evening... not a big drinker but if I went on a break like that I'd want to at least go out once for a night out in LA which means a light night, drinking and most likely a hang over... but at the expense of wasting a day of the training is it worth it?

Would much rather train in the late afternoon... gives you time to enjoy the night life but also get stuff done before training... out the house at 8:30 and training at say 4:30 gives you plenty of time for other activitys and time to get over your hang over if/which ever day you get one :P

I'll check the prices, might be a nice 'run out' with any of my mates into training... :P

Reading the site I thnk it's more aimed at 'non boxers', sort of a glorified stag do... like I say... still sounds fun... all the stuff I'd like to do, just not sure about having to train in the morning or miss a days training should I want to do anything else.

yeh this seems extremely expensive, and it does look top knotch no doubt but if your willing to ponder over spending that much, your willing to go all out to train and get super fit, choose your gym carefully, work hard to impress and eventually if your in the right gym a trainer will take u under his wing and train you well, and this will cost a hell of a lot less, you seem like you wana work hard, and i mean if you cant find a gym with facility's instead of going to camp at the same time as doing boxing training find time in your schedule to join a proper gym with all the goods and use that to get ultra fit whilst your continuing boxing another place.

Its a british company (I think) they have a gym in London to get people ready for going over so I think it's aimed at people with little or no experience who basicilly want to give some flavour to going to see a big fight, add to the experience.

Scrap to good too us lads.. should be keeping a lot of his stuff secret, we need to have a Scrap appreciation day :P

Thats what I am saying Gally, its not a proper camp, its a package that lets you experience how they train overseas or just lets you hang around in a boxing gym before watching a big fight.
