After the recent topic about whether or not SRL ducked Pryor.....thought i would make a poll. I'll get the wheels moving.....Leonard decision.

Leonard ducking Pryor. What a load of crap. When did Pryor campaign at 147? He was still fighting at 140
in 1985. He was having life and death bouts with a blown up feather in 82 and 83. Who the hell did Pryor
beat at 135 to instill fear into every lightweight in the world. Next thing wil be Duran ducked him!!!!!!!!!!!
The fight for Leonard at 147 was Thomas Hearns. That was what every one wanted, from memory the
earnings were in excess of 8 million. EIGHT MILLION 25 YEARS AGO for a title fight at 147, unheard of.
Ray Leonard become one of the weathiest fighters of his era,not from ducking fighters but from giving
fans the fights they wanted.
Based on Pryors record at 147........Leonard by TKO 10.
Yep personally i really doubt Leonard would duck anyone. Hearns, Hagler, Duran suggests this and Pryor was just simply wrong time for Leonard.
Pryor decision. Picture Duran/ Leonard 1 but more one sided!

Come on guys the other thread picked up 3 pages, more votes wanted!
Pryor was just a relentles sick MOFO was absolutely relentless who looked like he got off on the pain of boxing the more you hurt him the better he felt he had an awkward style that gave different angles he would give anybody trouble on any given night...I think he could of TKO leonard late in the fight...Styles make matchups..
True bro he had a lot of anger in him, thats why he fought the way he did. Steemed from being ignored & chumped by the Garden.Originally Posted by JT Rock

So did Leonard he just wasn't as obvious about it, he was just as much a killa as PryorOriginally Posted by JT Rock
No kidding!!! Read it again BUT more one-sided, meaning toe to toe for 15 rounds but with Pryor winning most exchanges.Originally Posted by Starr
