Joe Calzaghe will make the first defence of his combined IBF and WBO super-middleweight titles on October 14 at the MEN Arena, Manchester.
The Welshman will box for the first time since beating Jeff Lacy in March this year in a sensational display.
Calzaghe's first defence will be supported on the card by a string of other quality fights.
His opponent will be announced shortly, along with more title fights to be held on the card.
As it is, fight fans will see Ricky Burns' British super-featherweight title eliminator against John Murray, and Matthew Hall's English light-middleweight title challenge against Andrew Facey.
Also on the card, undefeated welterweights Tony Doherty and Kell Brook square off, while light-middleweights Thomas McDonagh and Martin Concepcion are also due to meet.

This has the makings of being a good ole card, if Calzaghe gets a top opponent, whoever it might be. Rumours I have also heard is that Scott Gammer will be making the first defence of his BBBofC Heavyweight title against Danny Williams on the card, and that Enzo Maccarinelli will fight Johnny Nelson in Nelson's last fight as he looks to go out as undisputed WBO cruiserweight champion. If you think of those three fights as headliners, whack in Ricky Burns, and the fight between Doherty and Brook, then we got us-selves the card of the year. But then again that's what I was saying about July 8, and Calzaghe dropped out and Skelton decided he was aboxer not a slugger, and it was a proper snoozer. Let's hope my hype is not dissipated this time.
