Hey, did yall miss me, I know you did...

Anywho I have just returned from my trip to Paris and I had a great time, I met good French people who honestly as odd as it may sound remind me of Americans in regards to their views on their culture work and so on.

While I stayed in France and Belgium I acted as much like a citizen as I could, I ate escargot I had frites with mayonaise (and after that I must say it's going to be a long time before I do that again). I learned a lot and got to see wonderful sites and the Parisian women HOLY CRAP THEY ARE HOT, ALL OF THEM!!!!

Here are some things I learned...
1) Not all French people hate the US

2) Their views on their culture are IDENTICAL to the average American's views on their culture...for example I don't think French people should HAVE to learn english just like I don't expect that Americans should accomidate ILLEGAL aliens by learning spanish.

3) Escargot is not as nasty as it sounds...I mean I've had raw oysters that's pretty much the nastiest textured food unless you count the "Cement Mixer" shot (lemon juice and bailey's the juice curdles the cream and creates CHUNKS of bailey's)

4) French women could read me the phone book and I'd melt

5) French people don't like breezes....and it was 90+ degrees out there pretty much everyday and there was NO air conditioning

6) 30 hr work week + taking holiday for the majority of August = poor economy and are probably the cause of your high prices. Though I must say I do like the way you think life is for living not for working

7) Your wines are not that different but are served different we forget to chill our red wines to "cellar temperature"...your prices are outrageous though which is why Australia and The US sell more

Coca-Cola all over the World should A) be cheap B) be provided with more than 2 cubes of ice and C) when served in restaurants free refills should be provided

9) Thanks to America women shave and people bath more...U-S-A, U-S-A, U-S-A!!!

10) If I never see another Japanese tourist it'll be too soon! 50 million tourists, 50 million individual pictures of nonsmiling very similar looking people. I have nothing against Japan or Asian people but GOD DAMNIT get the hell out of my way and smile when you have your picture taken!!!

and finally

11) Because of Zezu (Zidane) people are actually more cautious around french guys, or at least the Aussies I got to party with were (jokingly of course)

Europe is great, France is great, Belgium is ok and when I get to go back it's The UK that is #1 on my hit list!
