Dont really think I want to see this now after Gatti's last fight. There is only so much punishment a body can take. Lets face it Gatti has been involved is many wars he should really get out with his health. It would be a cracking fight though and both would take a lot of punishment. Hopefully Gatti will do the right thing. Suppose if the big money is there it could happen. Who Knows!!!?

For all the Hatton haters, you can say all the shit you want Gatti is done and has never really been Top Drawer, the biggest laugh i have had in the last few weeks when Starr predicted Gatti would stop Hatton within six.

this fight is pointless now its high risk little gain for hatton just like the collazo fight but who knows maybe that big name on his record will improve his reputation in the states

Agreed - It's pretty big risk for them both. Like you say though the reputation factor and money involved may make it happen.

I think if it does come off then it is the reputations and the MONEY that could make this happen. As for Gatti, I don't see it being too much of a risky fight for him. He's sitting down and looking at his legacy now, and coming out of a career with a win over a two-weight champ is no bad result to retire on, and if he loses, he banks a big wad of cash, and the suggestion that he was done after losing to Baldomir was confirmed. I see it being made, and it would be a cracker of a fight, two guys who go forward, with more heart than you could imagine on each side!
