    Default Doncaster to Scotland

Just curious if anyone can lend me a hand of help here:

I'll be in the U.K. for a couple of weeks; I'm leaving this Thursday. I'll be up in Doncaster for awhile and was
wondering what would be the best route to take to get up to Scotland for a spell. Just wanted to check out the Highlands
on my own before doing the whole family thing in southern england and London.

    Any input would be great.

Thanks gogs. Just wanted to make it up there to pay tribute to William Wallace at the monument.

Yeah - because that film was SO historically correct. (not!)

I feel like going to San Diego to pay tribute to the guys who captured the Enigma machine.

Ass-face I guess MacKay's account is all rubbish too? Further, Anne Porter's 'Highland Chiefs is probably another historical blunder?

I haven't read either MacKay or Porter, so don't know anything about whether they are rubbish.

You may note that I specifically referred to a film ......... which I do still think is rubbish, by the way.
