    Default mayweather. . .

Mayweather - since castillo 6 out of his 7 opponents had not won all of their last 6 bouts (boxrec)
and none had an undeafeated record

in truth sharmba and gatti were shot fighters ( not that i rate gatti as a gr8 fighter in his prime but i know alot of you do)
Henry Bruseles is well henry bruseles haha
and none of the others are particulary special
and none of them are natruel brawlers
now this is no critisism of mayweather, and i think taking on baldo is the best thing he could of done, but do youu think the castillo fights scared him prehaps, showed him he is not the invincible fighter he thought he was? it just seems to fit imo lol

To be fair i think any fite that Mayweather takes there will be haters who say he ducked so and so or is scared of bla bla. All the people at the top of their game have haters, Leonard, Ali for example. I actaully think Baldomir is very underated and will be a solid test for the Pretty Boy but i fancy him to prove us all wrogn agen.

I agree that Mitchell was shot but Gatti was not, he had reinvented himself under trainer Buddy Mcgirt and was on a serious hot streak including being the champion, I had never seen Gatti box so well before that fight. But after he was shot because he took a hell of a beating.

I've criticised him alot but Baldo is a good fight although I still don't think he is that much of a threat.

If Baldomir had speed to him he would be a dangerous fighter...He is just so slow but man he takes a shot!!!!

Their first fight yes I give it to Castillo but they fought again, Did PFB gave him the rematch or that was in the contract. Anyway the second time PBF won convincingly.

Maybe...but he didn't win one against Floyd...he lost & he really REALLY lost the one after their first fight. So let's just chalk that up for Castillo as lose & LOSE badly this time.

Got both of those on tape...& no matter what...Floyd won both fights.

i disagree with that, i mean some think hes invincible but its not the case atall i mean i seen him hurt by corley and judah with one punch at a time and he gets knocked back but he such a good fighter he always has the presence of mind to defend strait after that and none of the punches after the big punch actually land!!i mean when you lose the first two rounds of a twelve round fight and then come back to dominate almost the entire rest of the fight like he did against judah it shows hes not invincible cos he does sometimes loose rounds, even when the second should have been 10-8:P
but he came back and dominated like a real champ should!

    gatti is a brawler
and nobody was criticizing floyd before taking that fight. there were MANY people that thought floyd couldnt hang with gattis power and chin, EVERY floyd hater was saying this

so floyd takes the fight, and decimates gatti............all of a sudden, gattis nobody (watch a few gatti fights leading up to mayweather, he looked solid)

gatti wasnt shot going into that fight, floyd ruined him

I guess boxing must be a truly subjective sport because you swear blind that Floyd beat Castillo both times and that B Hop beat Jermain, whereas I am equally certain that Castillo beat Floyd first time around, and that Jermain definitely won both fights against Hopkins!

Do you think Collazo beat Hatton so that we may agree on at least one controversial decision? :P

I think that he gave Floyd a hard time in the first fight...no doubt...anyone that couldn't see that...or admit to that is lying to themselves...but I do believe that he won & if you watch the fight for or against Floyd & check the punchstats...they don't lie.

    Again...check the punchstats...they don't lie.

I honestly saw the second fight closer for Taylor...but the first fight...Hopkins won or should have won that fight.

    Nothing subjective there.

Sure...we can agree there. Hatton lost that fight or either it should have landed on draw...but I truly believe that Collazo (like Hopkins in the first Taylor fight) did enough to win & if the champ/title holder does that...he should keep his title.

Agreed. No. Floyd is not invincible...I'm a massive Floyd fan...but everyone man can be beaten at any given time.

    No exceptions.
