Default Question about Floyd (This one will make you think)

I know there are a lot of Floyd hatters on this board I mean first he ducking Carlos, then when he is fighting Carlos now he is ducking Spinks. I just don't see how can someone not like the style of Floyd. Me being a boxer I don't not care 4 personality of a fighter I only look at styles and Floyd has the most complete style of today. He would be my favorite fighter but that spot was filled by Willie pep along time ago.

    Anyways on with the question

Why doesn't Floyd Mayweather Flurry? I have seen all of his fights but there is prob some that I have overlooked but I have never seen Floyd flurry like SLR,Meldrick Taylor, Shane Mosley, Roy Jones etc. Is it because he is to much of a Sharpshooter? If I am wrong plz correct me but I have never seen him do it, or am I the only one who has realize this.

    1st things 1st....

Welcome to the forum "Casa De Saddo" heres a cool click on my behalf. If you stick around long enough you'll know what they rep.

Now about your question. I have seen him in flurrys I think twice.
The thing with PBF is he concentrates more on 'efective' punching PBF doesn't waste many punches IMO hes a very reserved fighter and throws punches ONLY when hes certain their gonna land hence 'effective' punching. The only time I have seen him flurry is when he has someone against the ropes and or cornered.

I am going to get off the PBF hating express and cut him a break.
Welcome to the forum. I agree he does not flurry just to flurry. He is more like a surgeon with great precision. I have to admit his jab to the mid section is one that few can stop and quite frankly it annoys me cus it is such a great weapon that he has perfected. He makes it look easy. He is cold, calculating and methodical. Wow my first kudo to PBF

Just watch the beggining of the 10th round in his fight with corley, it was a flurry but all the punches landed, short accurate, hit him about six times all clean shots, amazing.

yeah...and flurrys are mostly for b*tches.....nothing but flash and the power is pretty much gone....good for winning rounds in the old days but judges don't score like they used to (thank god!)....
It feels good to be back home.
