Default How Good Can Hatton be

Just interested to see peoples opinions on wot they think of the Hitman, and how they think his career will pan out...I have seen a few of his fights and from wot I see he has wot it takes to be around for a while...

So anyone know who he fights next and does he have any big fights coming up soon...

He's as good as he's going to get. He's faught over 35 times already. I doubt he's learning anything new. He's already perfected the clinch and hit.

I understand he is as good as he is gonna be but I think everyone now just wants to see him fight the top boys Corrales Mayweather etc

I think he is at his peak now and needs to make the big fights happen in the next 2 years,I'm talking about Chico,JLC,mAYWEATHER,cOTTO,show us what he truly is made of and go out on a high and as a legend! Oh and unify the titles at 140 maybe? It's possible!

I think Hatton loses to Mayweather, Castillo and Corrales. He would have a chance against Corrales, though. The Cotto fight, i see as a toss up.

I don't see the Cotto figth going his way either......Cotto is massive for a 140lb fighter.....that doesn't bode well for Hatton....

I think Hatton whips Chico, I think JLC is tough for anyone, I think Cotto beats him....I don't see a fight with PBF on the horizon.

Ricky has reached his peak it's now a question of how long will he stay there...he needs to ONLY fight the "big fights" : Witter, Harris, Cotto, JLC, Corrales, etc

I just don't know I like hatton he has two styles the one that he goes with a guy he can KO and cannot damage him and the one we are watching lately with the holding and hitting with guys that can hut him. I Just don't know how strong JLC will be at 140 but I bet my house that Hatton power is alot more than castillo or Corrales.

I will go with Hatton with this two. About Witter I have never seen him and about Cotto at 140 I will go for Cotto for a tecnical point of view but Hatton has more stamina than him at that weight and that can mean alot specially for Cotto with him loosing a lot of weight before a fight.

Hatton is really good but inactivity is whats killing him and many other fighters. Now to Hatton vs. Cotto. I really don't know what would happen Hatton has some decent hands and Cotto's chin seems to be faulty at times. While Cotto has a lot of power and Hatton's chin was somewhat exposed by Collazo. I'm waiting to see Hatton's next fight to see what happens, those last couple rounds with Collazo really got me wondering.

A really good idea for Hatton would be he wins against Urango, then he takes on the winner of Corrales vs Casamayor(talks them up a weight). If that doesn't work. Yeah, Cotto and JLC are very probable.

I know this is off topic but does anyone know how much Cotto weighs in the offseason? Some boxers let themself get really huge when they don't watch their diet, etc. Like Baldomir saying he weighs up in the 200s at some points in training.

Hatton is a good Jr. Welter. He should probably stay there as well, and not jump back up to 147. It's gonna take at least a couple more big wins to make him a Hall of famer or anything like that. He should seek out Cotto for sure, and maybe Castillo. A fight with Floyd could also be good, though I think Floyd would whip him. For the UK fans a bout with Witter needs to happen, I hate the British Troll (Hatton), but I really can't stand Witter either. Hatton needs to pound him.

Has Hatton reached his peak probably, but every one who you mention have too.Ware and tare, its part of the game. This is the time a good matchmaker earns his money.
