yeah loved it.... great card topped off by a legend.

for me Barrera could retire tomorrow and be one of the best boxers of this era.... regerdless of the Pac rematch

which i think he would lose

No problem with the performance. He did what he had to do and no more. I didn't like the bravado, though, and I didn't like the unsportsing conduct at the end. Barrera is a gentleman and it is so out of character for him to react like that to someone who has not disrespected him.

He went down in my estimation. Sad that one of my favourite fighters has really hurt his reputation, as far as I'm concerned. My dad, another huge Barrera fan, walked out because of the bravado of pointing to his chin and goading Juarez in a very Naz-like manner.

What happened to the Barrera who is all business, who gets hit and remains expressionless?

It's just out of character really. Normally he's just too focused to concern himself with anything other than fighting. I wonder if the booing got to him.

Barrera won that very convincingly. His jab set him from Juarez who had no way of negating it.

Barrera didnt need to do more than that and thats the sign of a mature pro....Why go to war if you can win rounds by boxing very effectively??

I would like to see the winner of Morales: Pac 3 face Marco....this mature sensible Barerra has a shot of beating either IMO....

    what happen to barrera?

his true colors came out when pac gave him a beating...remember he hit pac on the breaks and really tried to headbutt pac...sad I use to have mighty respect for mab butta pac ruin him...not just whooped him bad mab made it worst by being a bad loser...but I'm glad he won tonight...

a rematch with pac I doubt he would want...he should hang it up on a good win like this...pac would destroy him worst then before...pac got so much better, mab just got a year older every punch pac landed on him...

Barrera has always been capable of those type of performances and it's not the first time he's done it. Not sure why everyone is so surprised. He's nothing like the "fighter" he used to be. He's more of a boxer now and tends to counterpunch. The last Juarez fight was pretty much a forced brawl.

That's not say Barrera can't brawl as well as ever. He just doesn't do it and this seemed like a fairly typical performance to me. Really taken aback by how surprised everyone is.

Yeah, but Naz sort of brought that otu of him. Juarez didn't do anything from what I recall. Weird.

Im not surprised by the nature of Marco's win, its pretty much what I hoped for prior to the fight...

Rocky caught MAB off form in their first fight as did Pac when he faced MAB last time out. That was not MAB at his best against Pac...he would give a much improved performance in my estimation...

He isnt to be ruled out....

dont know mate he may have been spouting robbery over the first loss

because if you seen the original scorecards there was alot scribbling out.

i thought Naz was pretty respectful to Barrera... for Naz that is

Yeah, Barrera is a bast*rd, heheheh. I'm surprised you guys barely figured this out. But every Erik fan knows about Barrera's antics. I'm glad Barrera won. Now he can fight the winner of the Morales Pacquiao matchup.

MAB deserves respect for what he did tonight, he threw Rockyoff for a loop. Rocky is still right now thinking what the fwock just happend. MAB switched it up on him and Rocky didn't have an answer.
Now I agree it was not a firework fight or a thriller, but it was like mentioned a 'Finito' Lopez type of performance and for that he should be applauded.
