no one can talk shit about Cotto about ducking opponants, cause at his first fight at 147 he's taking on one of the future stars of the division

Yo Danny bro,our boys have got some hard hard fights coming up!! I fancy Margarito over Clottey, very hard fight though and will be close but I am less confident about Cotto but what a man,to take on Quintana, maybe the most dangerous man in the division! I don't care who headlines,as long as they win, that's all I care about!

Cotto should beat Quinatna thought, quite convincingly, if Cottos everything we hear he is...

Not necessarily, styles make fights,Quintana is a big, slick 147 pounder, and was highly rated by those in the loop before he schooled Joel Julio(the highly rated, touted as the next big thing at 147). Cotto deserves credit for taking this fight.

This is what boxing cards should be about, at least 2 fights on a card featuring boxers people actaully care about!

Quintana is going to be tough to get ahold of, but Cotto's body work should REALLY help out but I have a very bad feeling about Miguel taking this fight. I want him to win but Quintana showed he could take it vs Julio...we might have a Hatton-Collazo type fight on our hands (though no one has really stood up to his power very well)...but that was at 140

Wow!! props to Cotto if the fight goes through Quintana showed he can boogie wether you think Julio was all hype or not he faught a good fight that night.
Like Lyle I expect Cottos bodywork to win him the fight and his pressure of going forward and hooking him with both hands.
Not an easy fight for it to be his 1st at 147 IMO.

Will we see Miguel's chin at work that night? heheh (147lbs now)

Quintana caught Julio with excellent counters. If I remember correctly, wasn't Julio hurt?

To me this fight may reveal Cotto's true nature of his shaky legs.
Was it because he had to drain so much weight for a 140lbs fight?
Or was it that Cotto's chin really is glass-like?

    (I think the former,but I could be wrong. )

Time too step out from under Arum's wing and earn your keep, Welterweight is full of talent.. 2007 is going to rock!!

is a damn shame when HBO and Showtime go head to head.

poor old Winky... I know what card I'd prefer to watch.
