Initially I thought, mismatched Pryor EASY
but then I sai to myself, Hatton beat Tszyu, and Tszyu deserves to be mentioned in the same company as Pryor, so would it really be that clear cut
...and then I thought again and yes it would Pryor wins EASY![]()

i think pryor is too much for hatton remember if hatton did beat pryor on inside which i highly doubt pryor can box on outside very well aswell
hattan no problem no seems to cope with his boxing style
Id have to say pryor too. Even though Tszyu is probably the best 140 champion EVER i think pryor had a better style for hatton. But also one thing i might point out, prime tszyu never needed space for his punches, he threw them like nothing else and i think hatton would of been lucky to last the firdt 4 rounds against a prime tszyu. Prime Pryor kos hatton for sure.Originally Posted by BIG H
Tszyu hadn't been in many wars, had had less fights than Hatton, had about 3 rounds in 2 years and looked pretty prime against Mitchell!! Don't think you can use the prime argument on this one mate, Tszyu just got outstyled and out hustled. Don't get me wrong Tszyu will got down as the better fighter imo, but he lost fair and square, no exuses, he even said so himself!!Originally Posted by Snakey

Hatton is more polished, too classy for Aaron. I think he'd out-box him.
Nah dude age dont mean shit to tszyu, i dont mean that. I mean styles, tszyu had a more explosive style earlier in his career. He was a destroyer, come in and decimate the opponent. But as he got older he developed at more cautious style that works great against boxers but not so well with brawlers. Get what im saying?Originally Posted by BIG H
you are kidding right this is same hatton that just won against luis collazo aaron pryor can box aswell as brawling watch arguello 1st fight when he changes hes tatics to a boxer he does bloody brilliant job of itOriginally Posted by WWatt

Yeah...and? I didnt see vince do what hatton did. Different fight, vince managed to outslug kostya..hatton managed to out wrestle and out maul. Theres a difference.Originally Posted by skel1983
But you say he decimated opponents, he struggles with fighters who obviously he cant tie up like Phillips and Hatton, KT has always had the same style, i havent seen much difference when he fought Mitchell to when he fought in the am's??Originally Posted by Snakey
I would pick Pryor to have beaten any LW automatically. He would have put Tzsyu on the back foot and stopped him getting off right from the beginning. He was also too accurate a puncher and too versatile a boxer for Hatton. Chavez may have had a chance down the stretch but I reckon Pryor was too fast a starter so would pile up points early and then be a match for JCC in the trenches, winning a clear points decision.
pryor is one of the best at that weight
Man he tried to tie up hatton but the dude kept wrestling and when he did, hatton nodded to the ref to say please split us up. I see a major difference between kostya now and when he fought in the ams. Kostya was a lot quicker and more evasive. Then he went to the pros where he was a guy who would decimate opponents with speed and power...then he turned into a more patient fighter. Theres clearly differences mate.Originally Posted by skel1983
