Default Was watching Hopkins and Echols rematch and this match came to mind

I was thinking that Echols is a very exciting fighting with power and everything. And when Trinidad moved up to Middleweight i was wondering what if he didnt fight Hopkins so right away and get ruined. What if right after Joppy he decided to fight Echols. This is assumign the same Echols that fought Hopkins. I see a great fight with multiple knockdowns! Who do you think would have won this one?

It would end early, pretty sure of that

I think Trinidad threw his shots a little straighter, little better offensive technique, Echols might be stronger at 160 but I'd give the edge to Trinidad. But If this fight had happened and I was a big Trinidad fan I would have been a bit nervous.

Echols actually did better in the first fight IMO. The second fight was one of the most ridiculously (but kinda hilariously)dirty fights I've ever seen

Yeah, the first fight was much better. Echols had B-Hop hurt badly in the earlier part of the fight. To this day B-Hop says that no one has hit him harder than Echols. Echols did try to get a fight with Tito before he fought B-Hop but Tito wouldn't fight him. I understand that though because it is too much of a risk and almost no reward.
