    Im pretty sure Subtitles have to be included in the file for them to have an option to be burnt.
    For example if you download a FULL dvd with a subtitles option then if burnt as a DVD the subtitles should automatically be on there.
    But its not possible to put subtitles onto a file that hasnt got them included....unless you have a masters in coding or something

    Are you asking about adding subtitles or are you asking how to make a DVD with custom menus titles/backgrounds/music etc..

    I have a film on PC,and with is is a SEPERATE folder with subtitles which I have to install etc etc but I want to get the film AND subtitles on to disc.

    As for the second point,yeah,I'd like that bro,how do I put menus,chapter select etc on to dvds? Sometimes I want to skip to my fave part without having to wait like an hour by fast forwarding it!!

    I mean like I said above,the subtitles are in the seperate folder,when I watch it on the pc,I open the film,then attach the subtitles,how would I keep the subtitles on and burn them on to disc??

    Hmm, not sure then sorry bud.
    The menus and such are all about software. I used to be able to do it, i remember having two programs to make DVDs, Canopus procoder, this was to convert and such and something else i cant remember for the life of me. When i find out ill let you know, with this program there is a menu option and such.

    subtitles can exist independentley from an avi file,

    ive downloaded movies in the past that werre foreign language and then downloaded the english subtitles, u need to dl a program that automatically integrates them, as long as they have the same name and are in the same directory

    the subtitle file itself looks like its done with a program, i guess u could do it urself but it would be a bitch, its like this

    1:00 - 1:12
    DROP THE GUN!!!

    1:14 - 1:17
    NO WAY!!!

    its like that, simple but tedious, so i assume its done with a program

    here is an actual exerpt from subtitles i downloaded for a german movie

    36
    00:04:06,160 --> 00:04:10,756
    She just didn't talk anymore.
    Not to us, not to others.

    37
    00:04:18,520 --> 00:04:23,116
    Mum, please come back.
    It's so boring at Mrs. Schäfer's.

    38
    00:04:25,000 --> 00:04:27,878
    Mum, I love you.

    39
    00:04:39,680 --> 00:04:44,470
    The Sandman excellently adapted to the
    conditions in space.

    40
    00:04:44,520 --> 00:04:48,479
    But the biggest surprise was that he
    became very well acquainted...

    41
    00:04:48,520 --> 00:04:51,398
    ...with Mascha.

    42
    00:04:51,520 --> 00:04:54,280
    We even had a cosmic
    marriage on board.

    43
    00:04:54,280 --> 00:04:55,680
    We even had a cosmic
    marriage on board.

    44
    00:04:55,680 --> 00:05:00,960
    In a few minutes, the sandman
    and Mascha will come back to Earth.
    seems simple enough
