Right... so Erik got knocked out.... pretty early aswell..
but when you watch the fight... Erik didnt look shot, he came back and bac and back and showed some heart in the short time the fight was on..
but in my honest opinion he didnt look atall shot.. i feel erik was fighting completely tghe wrong fight..
wieght might have been an issue but no excuses.. erik fought the wrong fight..
And DAMN did manny look strong though.. hes always in monsterous shape but he looked good and by the looks of it he threw some bad bad bombs in there.. and erik got sparked ..
he wasnt out.. he coulda got up.. but he knew he couldnt turn it round and he was just so discouraged that he knew if he had of got up he couldnt have changed the gameplan to stop the inevitable..
It might be the fact that i dont want erik to retire... and maybe its that that has convinced me that erik doesnt have to retire.. and i dont know how erik feels about what to do with his career and what not..
but i feel there needs to be a change if he is to continue and i know he can..
Perhaps he should change wieght ? im not sure how hard he finds it to make weight i know he has had trouble but im not sure whether light welter is an option.. but if he can be stable at lightweight .. that is closest to super feather and if it would be managable there are new exciting fights for erik up there and better hopes for a revival of a legendary career then there is at super feather where he has already fought the major names of the division..
does anybody know if there has been word from erik about his situation? and how do you feel about the situation and my thoughts?

Did you see rey mysterio in the ring mannn!!! that shit was bad man!! i was like oh shit, rey is backing my man erik! lol... guess i just thought it was cool!!
