    Default From Calzaghe home page

To all Kessler fansDate posted: 28/11/2006 08:12:50

Over the past few weeks I’ve noticed an increasing number of Kessler fans posting critical comments of Joe Calzaghe in the Forum.

I understand and sympathise with your frustration that Mikkel Kessler will not be given the opportunity to box a true champion but Kessler has little to offer in contrast to the American greats.

Kessler hasn’t boxed anyone of particularly good stature, is practically unknown in the United States of America and has a small following of fans.

It is Joe Calzaghe’s objective to win over his American audience and defeat globally recognised boxers like Manfredo, Taylor and Hopkins. Once Joe Calzaghe has achieved these objectives he will then consider taking Kessler’s supermiddle weight titles. With a monolithic following of Americans and Britons the Calzaghe v Kessler fight would then gain an audience of monumental proportions but until then Kessler will have to wait.

For real...how you list manfredo with champs? This just goes to show that JC knew exactly what the f*ck he was doing ducking kessler and now is making excuses for it

he wants to preserve a shot at a bigtime fight with JT or Bhop and knows Kessler would have been a dangerous fight. So he decides to reach to the bottom of the barrel and get the "big name" manfredo.

And when/if he does get taylor or bhop I feel that either of them knocks him the fwack out! Christ, bhop would expose jc completely...taylor might even expose the b*stard

I agree it is Shiz, but it is from Calzaghe official homepage. Just find it amazing that he ranks Manfredo as one of the greats. So real boxing fans know they are scared. My advice would be that they modified their post

Here we see Joe Calzaghe in the gym preparing for Kessler in 2012. First a warm up "fight" against maneater manfredo then some peptalk Duck duck duck duck thenready to face the next challenger

And the links is already provided now from the official homepage . http://www.joecalzaghe.com/newsStory.asp?id=7

So do you believe it now ?
