Default Jeff Lacy: On the Road to Redemption or Ruin?

By Ronan Keenan: The contest was proving to be man against boy. The former Olympian bravely absorbed another barrage of hooks and uppercuts. A respite arrived as his more experienced opponent was deducted a point for a low blow, but the reprieve only delayed the inevitable. The raw titlist was forced to soak up yet more harmful combinations on route to his first professional loss.

more interested in this fight than the winky V ike match - I just hope Lacy comes in there and boxes for a good part of the part, a 1, 2, or 3rd round stoppage wont do much for him in the sense of people will just say hes the same 1d fighter who can KO weak fighter. If he comes in and boxes well and uses his power later on to stop him i think alot of people will start backing him for the right reasons and get him back and better than b4... Still maintain that he Ko' s Kessler b4 2009.

Yes it's always a possibility in a case like this... If anything it's worse for Lacy than in David REids case, because David Reid actually had alot of boxing ability, and was able to do very well early against Tito.. Lacy was totally exposed as having very little ability, he wasn't just beat up... So the fact that he may not recover mentally just makes it an even scarier prospect.
