Default Wnky Right v Ike Quartey

Can anybody see this being a "good fight"? I personally think it will be a good techical boxing performane from Wright and he goes onto win a UD.

I think that this will be a tuff night for Wright. Ike's still got a bit left in the tank...& he'll do fine on the move up.

    Tuff call...good fight.

Ike is one tough lil nut to crack, but i fancy Winky to box his way to a UD. Not a walk in the palk by a long shot tho!

The odds definitely have to favor Winky by UD. However, there are two factors that could work against Winky here and make this fight much more interesting than expected.
    Trap fight factor:
Winky's coming off the big fight with Taylor, and he's spent the last several months complaining about that fight and everything else under the sun. I think his mind may be too focused on his last fight and potential big money fights in '07, instead of this fight.
    Hometown factor:
Winky's fighting at home for the first time in 15 years. There are some guys who can fight at home and use it to their advantage, but I've always looked at it as a big distraction, especially when a guy is fighting at home for the first time in a looooong time. There's always the temptation to put on a show and win the crowd instead of just doing what needs to be done to win. Winky has made a career of winning boring fights. If he gets too concerned with winning in a flashy way because he's at home, then he's getting away from his strengths.

winky is going to win by UD. I like quartey but he is a slow starter and i bet winky is gonna jump to a big lead early and ike is gonna comeback and have his moments but only to fall short because winky will reassert himself and will give quartey a boxing lesson. jab.jab. jab

Gotta a feeling this will be a snooze fest.

Dull 12 rounder with Winky winning by a clear UD, probably a wide margin too 117-111 or therabouts.

Hoping the Lacy fight is good.

Winky is the best fighter pound for pound right now. It is undisputed. Look at his skill! Look at his record! Look at his opponents! Anyone who would put PBF above Winky is wanting to see a more proven fighter, rather than actaully seeing it.

I don't think it should be a tough one at all... Winky is better at using his jab, and not getting hit by his opponents jab, he is bigger than Quartey, stronger, and a superior defense. Another think is that he is southpaw... I think Jermain has one of the best jabs out there, and he landed it like 13% against Winky.
