Pacquiao v Valero - I'll stick my neck out on this one and ....

I'll stick my neck out on this one, but before I do I just thought I would start this topic as I’m sure this will be well discussed.

Sometimes in boxing, and sport in general, we have upsets, the unexpected, and of course the predictable happens. I’m not being big headed but when Barrera fought Prince Naz Hamed I predicted that Barrera would win, when Hatton fought Tzsyu again I predicted that Hatton would win.

So that leads me to this prediction, first of all I’m a big fan of Pacquiao, Morales, Barrera and Marquez although I feel Marquez hasn’t achieved the heights of the other three. You may recall a while ago I started a topic called Fabulous Four Part 2 as I was extremely confident that these fighters would mix it up with each other and be good for boxing.

I also predicted that Pacquiao would be one of the best in boxing, as I’ve been following him since he had his long hair and big moushtache, but anyway here goes..

I’ll stick my neck out and predict that Valero can beat Pacquiao, it’s no way near a sure bet and yes you will say “who has Valero fought? Nobody” but all boxers have to fight somebody first and beat them, and I feel this would be Valero’s chance, I’m not saying that Valero’s better than Pacquiao, all I’m saying is in there first meeting we will have a lot more respect for Valero and of course if Valero wins there will be second fight which Pacquiao will win.

I’ll leave it at that for now as I have to get back to work, but I will come back and give the reason for my prediction.

I was expecting a bit more of a response, as I say I feel Valero wins on points first time round, can anybody else build a case for Valero to win or are most going with Pacquiao?

valero really has no chance against pac...pac is to fast too skilled too strong...valero don't really have anything to offer pac right now...valero can't k.o. pac em mab jmm couldn't even drop him no way valero can pacs chin and body is so improve its just amazing he walks through and keeps attacking against ems mabs jmms punches...pac may just box valero or just finish him quick...plus pac is a huge step up you got to be a legend or future hall of famer already to compete with the pacman of today...valero has no experience against a storm like pac...and pac takes no one lightly he`ll dominate you he loves his people too much to be foolish so yea valeros only chance if he has any is if pac underestimates him but pac is no fool left or right pac will take valero out...

valero is a fish out of water inside a ring against pac...like I said before anyone can say anything now but once inside with pac all plans and talk are flying over your head by then pac is already all over you so yea poor valero is another corpse to get pounded...

Pac must be careful and take valero seriously. Valero may upset Pac but talentwise, skillwise, power, speedwise, experiencewise... Pac has a great advantage. But Pac has everything to lose, and Valero will sure train hard. So,as I said Pac must take him seriously.

They said Mosquera was more than just a decent fighter and Valero stopped him I guess that's proof that he is for real.
Anyways I always hope and pray that PAC retires within 2 years if he beats JMM, MAB, Guzman and Valero.

He doesn't have to be at his level to KO him you dipstick. If Pac opens up, and valero opens up i honestly think Pac would end up KO'd. The longer the fight goes on the more i favour Pac but i think it would be a short thriller with valero comeing out on top. guys you know what this is not a fight that either of these fighters need at this time because first of all, they still have a lot of things to prove. pac needs to be a champion first and get at least any of those belts and valero should not be an option because he has nothing to gain if he beats valero. And on valero's case, he is not ready for pacquiao yet. he may be exposed and his talent would be wasted because there is a very big possibility he would be destroyed and humiliated by manny. and i agree with mr.bilbo and mr.the_answer that he is one talented kid but he is just raw and inexperienced and he hasnt fought in the US at all. This is where the competition really happens. the big stage and against the big stars, valero hasnt taste any of it. And i also doubt if he can take pacquiao's brutal blows. again he hasnt prove anything but his power
